Abstrak

This research is a classroom action research which aims to determine the increase in student achievement of Class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Bone, Ajangale District, Bone Regency through the method of giving student assignments in Indonesian language learning. The preparatory steps that have been planned for the implementation of the research go according to the plan, from making the research plan to making instruments, namely observation sheets for lesson plans, observation sheets for teacher activities in teaching and observation sheets for student activities in learning, have succeeded in capturing data. as a result of research.


The learning implementation uses the Assignment Method which has been applied in two cycles, focusing on the form of writing activities. To achieve maximum results, teachers are required to always pay attention to all students in writing practice using the Assignment Method.Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the independence of learning Indonesian for class X MIPA 1 students of SMA Negeri 4 Bone, Ajangale District, Bone Regency, grew, after being given the task of giving the task of making questions and solving them by themselves for two cycles. This can be proven from the following indicators: The level of independence of class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Bone, Ajangale District, Bone Regency in learning Indonesian after being given action in Cycle I in the form of making questions and solving yourself is in the low category with an average score of 11,568 from the highest score is 20 and the lowest score is 0.The level of independence of class X MIPA 1 students of SMA Negeri 4 Bone, Ajangale District, Bone Regency in learning Indonesian after being given action in Cycle II in the form of making questions and solving themselves is in the high category with an average score of 15.595 from the highest score of 20 and the lowest score of 0. Student involvement in the teaching and learning process that leads to independent learning of class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Bone, Ajangale District, Bone Regency has increased. Thus giving the task of making questions and solving them by themselves to students is quite effective in fostering independence in learning Indonesian for class X MIPA 1 students at SMA Negeri 4 Bone, Ajangale District, Bone Regency.
