Action research this class aims to improve students’ learning outcomes in Mathematics especially in applying the vector concept and opportunities to solve problems using the Tournament Group Learning Model. The research subjects chosen are class 2 Marine Fisheries Technique Skill Program (TPL) of 30 students. This research was conducted in January - March 2009 in the Academic Year 2008/2009 for 2 cycles and each cycle 3 times meeting of implementation stage include: Action planning, Action implementation, Observation and Reflection. The instrument used is observation sheet and student learning result test which is conducted simultaneously with learning process, covering active and cooperative attitude, material development and student learning result. The results showed that Classroom Action Research has reached the criterion of indicator limits of learning success. From cycle 1 by 44,44% to 83,33% in cycle 2. Thus there is an active student increase of 38,89%. From cycle 1 of 35,56% to 77,78% in cycle 2. Thus there is an increase in students who have cooperative attitude of 42,22%. From cycle 1 of 52,22% to 75,56% in cycle 2. Thus there is an increase in students who have student learning result test of 23,34%. From the results of this study can be concluded that Tournament Group Team Learning Model can improve student outcomes.
