Abstrak

This study was conducted at the Bone Fisheries Middle School Business School (SUPM), Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province, with the aim to find out an increase in student learning outcomes, the quality of teaching and learning process and the extent to which students will understand, know and master the subject matter given, using the Cooperative Learning Method Mind Mapping approach. The research was carried out in 3 action cycles. Data collection techniques used were observation through student activities during the learning process, cognitive and psychomotor test results of students, at the end of each action cycle. The data obtained from observations were analyzed qualitatively to get a picture of students’ attitudes towards learning methods applied, student activities following lessons, attention, ethusiasm in learning motivation and the like while learning outcomes data were analyzed descriptively, ie determining the average value, the lowest value, and the highest value, and the percentage of values obtained based on the criteria of very less, less, good, and very good. The results showed that by applying Cooperative Learning with a Mind Mapping approach, it could improve learning achievement in Fish Pests and Diseases subjects, Department of Fisheries Cultivation Technology at the Bone State Fisheries Business School (SUPM). Based on the observation sheet carried out by collaborators from the initial condition to the final conditions, there was an increase in all aspects, namely aspects of collaboration in groups, aspects of interaction with the teacher, aspects of responsibility, and aspects of attendance.
