Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and commitment to employee performance on Human Resources and Human Resource Development Agency of South Buru Regency. This research uses explanatory research type with survey data collection method. Sampling technique in this research is probability sampling with saturated sample technique (full sample) that is as much as 52 people, because of the relatively small population. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results showed that (1) Knowledge, skill, self concept, Affective Commitment, Continuity Commitment, Normative Commitment simultaneously have positive and significant effect on employee performance; (2) knowledge is a variable of competence factors that have a positive and significant influence and the most dominant on the performance of personnel Personnel Agency and Human Resource Development South Buru Regency.
