Abstrak

: This study is a classroom action research that aims to improve learning outcomes in economics through cooperative learning models of the Talking Stick type in grade VIII students of MTs Az-Zahra Ajanglaleng, Amali District, Bone, on the subject of micro economics and macro economics semester even the 2017/2018 academic tear with 48 research subjects (22 male and 26 female). Data collection techniques used in the form of the use of observation sheets during the learning process and tests given at the end of each cycle. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion the average score for the first cycle was 52,77 and in the second cycle the average score obtained was 72,42. The increase in student economic learning outcomes by using the Talking Stick type of cooperative learning model is characterized by the increasing percentage of categories from the low category in cycle I to the high category in cycle II. Observation data shows an increase in the activeness and attention of students in learning economics both during learning and in groups
